Sindy Mathews 

Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist and Director

Sindy obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney in 1995. She travelled to the United States to gain experience in different practice settings, including Paediatrics. She has been a member of the U.S. National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) since 1996 and Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA) since 2011. 

Sindy became passionate about working with children after having her own children. After working in a private paediatric practice where she was mentored and trained in the DIR®/Floortime model, she embarked on her private practice within school settings. Sindy enjoys working collaboratively with teachers and parents, sharing practical tools to empower children to thrive in school, at home and in the community. She is dedicated to supporting students in achieving their personal best.  

Sindy's fun and engaging nature have students eager to attend and reluctant to leave therapy sessions.

Sindy has been focused on helping children, their families, and teachers for over a decade. Through her passion, she has gained experience working with children with various challenges, including ASD, ADHD, ODD, global development delay, cerebral palsy, and learning difficulties.
